Two Partners to the Law of Attraction

Goal Setting and Taking Action

One of the items that many discussions of the Law of Attraction tend to omit is what to do once you have clearly envisioned and felt what it is you want.  Clarity is important.  If you are shooting at a target and can't focus on where you want to hit, you may hit the target but you'll be lucky to hit the bulls eye.

Action Makes Dreams Come TrueHowever, it's totally certain that you won't hit the target if you don't pick up the gun and shoot at the target.  Goal setting and action are two keys to succeeding, even with the Law of Attraction working in your favor.  Opportunities are seldom perfect, but if you aren't ready for them, then they pass you by and you will never be able to take advantage of the opportunity when it arises.

Want to hike in the monumental rocks of the Southwest?  You can visualize all you like and maybe even 'attract' transportation there.  But if you haven't gotten yourself in good physical shape, learned how to spend time in hot dry conditions safely, gotten your equipment and maps, your opportunity will be wasted or might turn out to have disastrous consequences.

Mike is in the Merchant Marine and sailed deep sea for years.  Many times he heard able bodied seamen complain that they weren't chosen when a opening for the position of third mate came available.  The reason was that they hadn't set goals nor taken action when they first considered the idea of becoming a third mate.  They didn't spend the time studying nor make the attempt to pass the exams that would give them the license to sail in a higher position.

If you use the law of attraction to become aware of the opportunities surrounding you, be sure you are ready to receive them.  Visualize.  Set Goals.  Take Action.

Do You Really Believe in Your Goals?
