Does the Law of Attraction Work?
Someone asked me the other day what the law of attraction does. Since I write about, it seemed quite apparent to me but I guess not to everyone. What if I were to say to you, "Volkswagen?" You’d think I was crazy until I asked you how many Volkswagens you have seen on the road lately. Unless you either drive one or are fascinated by them, they probably just go by you as you drive. They are a nothing to you. That’s like a lot of things in our life they just pass us by unless we’re looking for them.
Now take a different approach and as you drive, notice how many Volkswagens you see. I’ve done this exercise many times and am always amazed at how many more VW's I see. When you’re looking for something, the chances for you finding it are higher, especially if you know exactly what you’re looking for. As you continue with this exercise, Volkswagens will be popping out everywhere. You’ll begin to wonder where they've all been hiding. Is there a Volkswagen convention in town? Well, they were there all the time but you just didn’t see them.
Now here is the $54 question and the secret to the law of attraction. Did you attract the Volkswagens? Or have Volkswagens finally attracted you to them? When you bring your interest and attention to a subject, is that item or opportunities connected to it just more obvious to you? Perhaps with the cosmic law of attraction, if everything is already present in the universe, your sight has just improved enough to see what is already there.
Just think how this would work if you’re looking for another job or whatever. You will be attracting what you are looking for. Isn't the law of attraction great?

Oh how very true, my partner just got a new company car. He was given a Nissan Xtrail, prior to this I didn’t even know what they looked like, he was always having to point them out to me when ever he could spot one, which was not very often. Now everywhere I drive all I see are Xtrail’s all over the place. So yes the Law of Attraction is such a powerful thing. Cheers Filomena
Law of Attraction works all the time and will always brings us toward the thing that we belief we deserve to have right in the moment. This post is quite interesting. Thanks for having it here.
I don’t understand this. If I haven’t been thinking about a certain brand or type of car and you ask me how many of them were there on the streets I wouldn’t have an answer but I would spend the next several days looking out for and noticing that specific car all over the city. Is that what you are saying? Is this the law of attraction? How? I am not attracting any car, am I? I am just more sensitized to the fact that such cars exist and so I only notice them. That’s all. It’s not like I am going to miraculously own one of them, am I? So your example isn’t really the law of attraction – it’s really the law of.. I don’t know.. the law of noticing. Whatever. You just want to see and so you are seeing. That’s true. That’s a law. But there is no attraction here. The cars still belong to their old owners, don’t they?
The use of the Volkswagen was just to give you an example that you could actively visualize. What I was trying to point out was that opportunities are everywhere but, because we aren’t looking, we believe they aren’t there. Once we begin looking for Volkswagens, opportunities, whatever, we will be surprised at how many out there and how many of them we could actually take advantage of.
