Getting Lucky With The Law of Attraction
Be Prepared When Opportunity Knocks
Don't tell Beth, but I have fallen for another woman. Our cable company just added the Food Channel so Beth and I started watching it for kicks. Who would ever think you could become mesmerized watching someone cook? You can't smell the food or eat it, but those cooking shows put us in a hypnotized state. Not being all that familiar with the food hosts we quickly became especially fond of a Paul Deen.
Her story is what we fell in love with (well, Beth likes that she equates butter with love). It’s all about the Law of Attraction at it’s best. Paula started cooking out of her house with a business called The Bag Lady, which led her to being hired by Best Western. Both ventures were very successful, which led to a loyal following. Paula decided to put her recipes into a small book. No one would publish it, but she believed in herself and paid to have 5000 copies printed up. Just by chance one rainy day a Random House editor ran into the restaurant to get out of the rain. She picked up a copy of Paula's cookbook, and the rest is history.
A while later, a patron of the restaurant knew someone at the QVC shopping network. This led to getting Paula selling her cookbook on the QVC television channel.
Would you call this luck or the Law of Attraction at work? I believe that there were too many occurrences for it to be luck. She believed in herself and took action. When opportunities showed up, she was ready to take advantage of them. She used the Law of Attraction to become lucky.
