Law of Attraction Quotation Abraham-Hicks Reminder

Do You Know What You Are Attracting

I receive the daily Abraham-Hicks quotes and find them a great reminder to keep my head screwed on straight for the day.  Today's quotation made me think of my last couple of posts – the one about the TV ads for medications and fussing about having no ambition.  This is what A-H had to say:

"You cannot look at that which you do not want and not join and perpetuate that vibration. Take your attention from that which is not in harmony with who you are, and your "now vibration" will adjust to who you really are — and then you can uplift others."

Excerpted from a workshop in Portland, OR on Tuesday, June 10th, 1997

Okay.  So I am working on the SAD and no ambition part in a positive manner:  I'll ask a couple more questions to get more information, and I'm upping my exercise, getting outside more, and learning the Sedona Method releasing technique for starters.  All good and positive things to do anyway.  As for what's on TV, well, that's harder.  I could just tune out when commercials come on.  I do that a lot anyway, but obviously not enough to ignore the bad health ads.  We have friends who don't have TV, but they keep up on favorite series by watching them in DVD.  Now that's not a bad idea.

The question for all of us to ask is 'Where is our attention going?'  Do you notice what you don't want, don't approve of, don't like and expect it to disappear?  Or you revel in justifying your position?  That's a bit like those posters we see around town "War Is Not the Answer".  A better approach would be like the sole bumper sticker I saw that said, "Power to the Peaceful".

So where are you putting your attention and what are you attracting to yourself?

We can always use reminding to focus on the good that we want to attract and not the other stuff we don’t want. When we watch television we are not usually choosing for ourselves where we are putting our focus, especially the commercials. Making more conscious choices about what you want to pay attention to is a good way to manifest more of the things you want in your life. Thanks for the reminding me of that today.

Karen, you’re welcome. It’s always good to have a daily reminder to focus on where we want to go and on the positive.
