Super Sizing the Law of Attraction

by Mike on 12:26 pm

My lovely bride and I had a talk yesterday about the future and direction of this blog. Originally, when I didn't understand something about the law of attraction, I'd ask my wife and she'd explain it to me and give me some examples of where I'd used it for either good or for undesirable results. So, Law of Attraction Simplified was my way of sharing my understanding of the law of attraction in very simple terms – the ones I could understand. Then it became my way of expressing my feelings and sharing my experiences with the law of attraction. Let me say that it's been a long journey changing my thinking. I've come from the eyes-rolling "Woo Woo" you've-got-to-be-kidding-me to actually understanding and practicing some of these concepts. Do you still do this with the law of attraction? We want to believe that it will work for everybody but me. That exactly was my approach until I started practicing LOA. Why are we so quick to discard something and call it junk if we haven't used it ourselves?

Do we use the law of attraction in all aspects of our lives? I have to admit that I don't and that's sometimes where I get frustrated and want to believe the LOA doesn't work. Let me give you a couple of examples. I would always state before we went to Barnes and Noble that I would get a parking spot right next to the store. At first Beth and I were amazed that each time the spot came up. Sometimes I'd have to wait a few seconds for someone to back out but it was always there. It eventually became so that I expected the spot and it always appeared. I asked the LOA for a job back east and all of a sudden a job was offered me. My intention this year is to use the LOA in as many aspects of my life as I can, not just for parking spaces. I had a belief that LOA would work for me only for the small stuff. People like Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield could get the big bucks, but I'd get parking spaces. This year I'm super sizing my LOA.

This year I promise to post regularly. Both my bride (of 34 years) and I are going to use it more as a journal of where we are and where we're going. That way both you guys and we will see what's happening with us and LOA this year. We'd really appreciate your comments and feedback. It helps us see where we really are, helps us keep on track. And we like to know what your experiences are and if anything we are writing helps, or at least entertains, you
