Here is a great interview CBS Eye to Eye did with the Reverend Michael Beckwith of Agape International and also one of the teachers of the movie 'The Secret". As usual, Michael Beckwith speaks elegantly and eloquently. He has an incredible gift for clarifying and simplifying, while at the same time explaining a subject more fully.
I agree with Michael Beckwith's explanation of both the movie The Secret and the Law of Attraction. Because of the powerful recent marketing push of the movie and the book, the law of attraction has come into more people's awareness. It presents the beginning steps of the Law of Attraction in very simple and materialistic terms. As Michael Beckwith points out, the Law is truly more about spirituality than it is about materialism or consumerism. By changing your attitude you can begin to shape your own destiny. Rather than seeing a lack of opportunity, no matter what the area – spiritual, health, financial, relationship, career – you will see more opportunities. No big secret here. It is a shift in awareness and acceptance of your own responsibility in directing your life. Go, Michael!!
