Visualize and Let the Law of Attraction Happen

Using the Unstoppable Forces of Visualization and the Law of Attractions

I don’t know why, but I get the biggest kick out of the law of attraction. Let me give you an example of my latest adventures with it. I live on the West Coast and had a job interview on the East Coast. I’d been hearing all the negative experiences everyone's been having with the airports and unfriendly airlines. Okay, with all the security horror stories blah, blah it’s hard not to fall into negative expectations.

airport law of attractionSo this is what I did. I started visualizing what my trip was going to look like. I saw myself passing through the long lines quickly. I saw myself passing through security without any problems. I visualized the planes on time and a no-hassle trip. And most important, Mr. X would offer me a job.

So how did it go? As I drove to the shuttle, I kept on seeing what I wanted to experience. I arrived at the hotel parking lot where I was to catch the shuttle to the airport. It’s 0200 and the hotel manager said he was doing an audit and couldn’t take my money. He said to park for free. The shuttle arrived on time and we got to the airport early. It was quite busy at the airport, but I walked straight through to my gate. No problems with security or lines. So far everything’s great. As I was walking to my gate I noticed a Bose representative at his booth. I had a broken pair of head phones and asked what it would cost to repair. He said "Sir, you’re in luck today," and gave me a new set.

I had visualized a much shorter trip, tailwind, etc. but I guess the law of attraction does have some restrictions. Anyway, we arrived on time and my trip from the airport to the hotel was short. The shuttle driver was just driving up as I walked to the curb. Talk about luck. Or was it the law of attraction?

I spent a day in Baltimore interviewing and caught an afternoon flight. I had the same results on the way home. My flight to Phoenix was 45 minutes late and I thought I’d be spending the night in Phoenix but my connecting flight to Seattle was also 45 minutes late.   I had visualized this trip and couldn’t have asked for any better. So does visualization and the law of attraction work? You be the judge.

To help you with your visualizations you can create a vision board.  Check out this easy to use and inexpensive piece of software and create your own vision boards.  Very cool!  And very personal to your own goals.

So did I get the job? I’ll let you know.  Yes, I did but because of the housing market I was not able to take the full time job and I'm presently under contract with them.

Hey Mike,

I know what you mean because I’ve been there too. I make my vision board my laptop’s wallpaper :)

Hi Mike,

Of course the Law of Attraction worked, visualization is very powerful and causes you to emit a lot of positive energy.

If you don’t visualize then how will you ever make your dream or desire reality.

Keep up the good work

Hey Mike,

Law of Attraction works and never fail. I am actually amazed by the manifestation in your case.

Even though it happens to me quite frequently, but it always feels good to share the magic together. :)

This is another power of visualization.

Hello.

I’m curious what “type” of job you were applying for. Was there a great number of people applying for the job as well? Obviously these things would be a factor in whether you’d get the job, and if you were applying to work at Walmart, as opposed to applying to become the CFO of Disney Corp, I’d think the latter would be a bit easier and therefore dissuade the relevance of the “law of attraction”.

Don’t get me wrong here. I want to believe in the law of attraction. But, I just don’t know if it works. I have been asking to with the lottery for the past year, and haven’t.

Sorry, I wish I could tell you that it was a no brainer job. I filled a position that had been open for two years and thousands had applied for. As crazy as it sounds I asked the universe for a job on the East coast in the maritime field and six months later I had one. Now here is where you have to be careful. Be very specific what you want when asking. The universe gave me exactly what I asked but I forgot to include the small stuff like selling my house, etc. Yes I got the job but the housing market became so bad that I had to go on sabbatical and take a contract job with them. I am still working for them now at both of their maritime schools east and west coast. Guess I have the best of both coasts now. :)

As for winning the lottery, if the law of attraction works for everything, then winning the lottery would be included in that. But I have a couple of questions for you. Is winning the lottery something that you absolutely visualize, feel and believe, or is it something you just wish for? And is winning the lottery what you really want? My guess is that it’s the things that you could get with the lottery money. And after that, it’s the feelings you get from those things that you are really looking for. If you make a list of what the lottery would make possible for you, you may find that these are the things you should be putting your attention on. Capt. Mike
