Ever Told a Little White Lie?

self esteem grandamSay what you mean and mean what you say. I caught my 89 year old mom the other evening telling a fib and I called her on it. She said it was okay because it was a white lie. Gee, I though a lie was a lie but she enlightened me. The worst lie was a black lie and in between she defined a gray lie. Who ever knew? The other day I caught a friend that I hadn't seen for many months saying something that wasn't true. Of course, I didn't mind that one because he said I was looking really fit and trim. Using my mom’s guidelines it would be considered a white lie.
