An Invitation – Let's Make a Deal
I guess everyone needs a starting point, a line in the sand, so as I begin to read the book 'The Science of Getting Rich’ again, I would love to share the experience with you. In each chapter or passage I will explain what it means to me with examples of life experiences. It will be your job to translate them into your own language. Let’s make this a journey together – add your comments on what you see and we'll all be the richer for it.

Let's start here.

The Earth Is FlatWallace Wattle’s states that false beliefs are based on what he calls an appearance or an illusion. Whenever a false truth is proven wrong everything changes. Truths that we believe are really true may not be true at all. Unfortunately, we may own our truths because of someone else’s teachings – your parents, church and schools, friends or even advertising. And they can be very far from the truth.

Work with me here. The standard example is that at one time everyone thought the world was flat. Back then that’s what everyone thought. Why would you think differently? It was a truth that appeared true. Even after it was proved wrong, there were those who still believed in the old truth.

The important point here is that if we don’t know something exists then it doesn’t exist for us. If we don’t believe it, it still doesn’t exist. We can't make any use of it. It is only after we become aware of a new idea and accept it into our beliefs that we will see the results. Change your beliefs and you change your world.

So, some people change what they believe and that changes what they experience. Others don't or won't. What camp do you belong in?
