Law of Attraction Only Works if Your Clear – Definite and Specific
So what does it take to make the law of attraction work? Well, I hear statements such as, 'I want to lose weight'. 'I want a lot of money.' 'I want to be happy and joyful.' 'I want world peace.' – Hey wait, that’s only my mom. 'I want oodles of money' (professional term for lots of green stuff). It seems money is the most popular ‘I want’.
Let's use this analogy. I'm ordering a pizza at a restaurant and I tell the waitress I'm hungry. I don't tell her anymore than that and let her decide on the toppings. She brings me a pizza with anchovies, onions, and feta cheese. I don't like any of these toppings. If I was clearer and more specific in what I wanted she would have been able to accommodate me. It works the same way when you ask the Universe. The more specific and clearer you are, the easier the universe can order up your pizza.
Wallace Wattles writes ‘you must form a clear and definite mental picture of what you want. ‘ He also goes on to say that many people fail to impress the thinking substance because they have only a vague and misty concept of the things they want to do, to have, or to become.
So if you want to have more money abundance then be more specific than ‘I want a lot of money’. Specify exactly how much you want, when you want it by, and mentally start living as if you had it. Okay, I'm not saying for you to go out and spend it before you have it. No one knows how long it will take to receive your wish. However, the stronger the vibrations and the more you actually believe it, the faster you'll start seeing results. So this is where the movie ‘The Secret’ leaves out some critical steps.
The most important step is the starting point. It's what you'll be focusing on. When you build something, you want a strong foundation. So the more you clarify your goal, the more specific you are with your end result, the easier it is to stay on track and recognize your goal when you achieve it. So I’m very curious. Why did you stop your blog? Did you decide that the Certain Way is a fraud? Inquiring minds, searching and desperate minds want to know.
I have never intentionally used the Law of Attraction until about 6 months ago. I was having a very bad time in my life and decided I needed to make something happen. I started to use the Law of Attraction via visualization in a very diciplined way. In the past 6 months 7 major events (manifestations) have occured that I visualized. 4 of these events were “very good luck” and 3 were simply unbelievable. At times I said to myself “I have no idea how this can possibly happen but I will beleive and feel it” and they did happen. I have read and discovered for myself some key things to make this work:
1) See only the result you want, not how you will get it or any problems associated with getting it. See only the end result you want. 2) See things from your own eyes, not externally. See it exactly how you will see it when it does happen. It will blow your mind when it actually does happen the way you have visualized it. 3) See exactly what you want in as specific of terms as you can. If you want to go to Hawaii see (from your own eyes) yourself on top of a surfboard ripping across a wave. The more specific a scene you can create in your mind, the more likely it will occur. The only events that I have had problems creating or “manifesting” are ones that I don’t have very specific information about. Be specific. 4) Feel how getting what you want will make you feel. The more emotion you can put into your visualization, the better. We daydream all of the time with little emotion and few results. Your visualizations MUST be packed with emotion. When you get that money see yourself jumping for joy and dancing around the house. See yourself madly in love with that new girlfriend or boyfriend. Feel it.
I promise you it works. You must be consistent and you must be as specific as you can. The more specific the better and faster it will work.
