See It - Feel It - Own It and the Law of Attraction Will Work For You
We hear the word Visualization all the time today. So what does it mean to you? What is it? Is it real? Can you touch it? Taking a quick look at the dictionary it’s says it’s to form a mental image of. Bottom line: it’s not there, it’s not real. But what we want to do, need to do is make this as real as possible in our mind.
Many people visualize or imagine things in different ways. Some people will see the imaginary objects while others relate better when they hear or feel it. It doesn't matter. What’s important is that you see, hear or feel the image as if it’s real. Look, I want this so real you feel as if you already have it. Feel it, touch it or hear it and start living it. Say for instance I mention a lemon. Some will see a yellow lemon while others will actually taste the sour taste.
What we can see, feel or hear in our imagination or thoughts is what we can become. Simply put, the images of what we've seen in the past is what we are today. You many not want to believe it but it’s true. To change we have to think bigger, better, different. If it's money you want you have to see the money. How green is the money? What sound does the money make when you riffle that stack of money? What denominations are you looking at? How many zeros? Can you smell the money? What I do is take at $1 bill and add a few zeros. This way I can feel the money, see the money and smell the money. Yes, money does have a smell, and the more of it you have the sweeter it smells.
So it comes down the basics of what we put in our mind and hold is what we become. This is nothing that you haven't already heard a couple of dozen times in this Blog. Take hold of the your positive visual image and own it. Make it yours. I mean almost become obsessed with the image and you'll see that the Law of Attraction will open up for you. You start to see opportunities all around you that you've never noticed before. Hold the image and don't let go. You'll have many thoughts go through your mind but let them pass through and hold onto that image. What you think about the most is what you become!

We watched a show on The Learning Channel last night called 'What Not To Wear". Basically, the two experts work with someone who dresses poorly and totally inappropriately for his or her profession. I'll make a note here that the two experts invariably do a good job in selecting a style that goes with their weekly subject and everyone winds up happy with the result - coaches, subject and audience.
Life Coach Pushed into Personal Growth
Last night Stacey and Clinton worked with a woman who has credentials as a Life Coach. She wore either men's clothes or very embroidered, patchwork, shapeless women's clothing. Her footwear of choice was flip flops. Not what I think of when I think of a Life Coach. Fortunately, most of her coaching was over the telephone, because she certainly didn't present the image of a successful coach who had her own life on track. She was beginning to worry because now some of her clients wanted to meet her in person.
Image Isn't Everything Is It?
What this says to me is two things. First is that we form opinions of people within the first couple of seconds of meeting them based upon how they look. It may not be right, but it happens.
The second thing is that great coaches aren't necessarily great themselves at what they coach, but they have to be really good at analyzing their client, selecting coaching methods that work for that person, and providing the stimulus for that person to improve.
This leads to a third thing. It was brought up last night and I have seen it regularly throughout past episodes. Many people are afraid that with a change in clothing and makeup and - here's the biggest one - hair style, they will lose themselves and who they are. Some women even cry when it comes to getting a haircut. Though our Life Coach from last night was willing to go for the change, she, too, expressed some trepidation about the change. Very often a person's self image is very tightly tied up in their external image. What does that say about how a person feels about him/herself inside?
Self Esteem
If you work on personal growth internally, no one need know that you have tried a change until you follow through enough for the results to show. If you make a change on the outside, the world immediately knows something is up. You can't hedge on this one because it's right out there for everyone to see. So if you want to push your personal development and put yourself on the line, make an external change and 'act as if'. Make the change and step up to the plate.

Just Positive Thinking Won’t Attract All You Want
Has any one heard of the thought-feeling-action pyramid? It’s the basis behind the movie “The Secret” and the book “Science of Getting Rich”. It is a simple as your thoughts generate feelings and the feelings generate action. This is the formula:
Thoughts + Feelings + Action = Results.
Let me give you an example. I need to lose 20 lbs, okay maybe 30 lbs. So I hold an image or thought that I need to lose 30 lbs. My thoughts turn into feelings. My first feeling was looking back at some pictures when I weighted 30 lbs less and enjoyed the experience of looking slim, having compliments, and wearing slim clothes. Of course, the side benefit was a healthier me. Notice that I’m focusing on the good feelings. I don’t focus on how I feel right now about buying pants in a bigger size or how I get tired out when helping our future son-in-law build his house. I focus on the positive feelings that I really want to experience. I also remembered when I actually took care of myself I had a can-do attitude. Nothing could stop me. These are all feelings. Wow! I’m excited already.
If I stopped with feelings, I’d have only completed two sides of the triangle. As I noted above, I’ve created the excitement but if I don’t take action nothing will happen. I can wish and dream all I want, but without action it only stays as a thought and a feeling. Unfortunately, this is where most people stop. To lose the pounds I need to take action. To keep myself motivated I need to revisit the triangle over and over until I create momentum. I need to visualize myself 30 lbs less. I need to see me in those slim clothes. I need to workout and eat less. Without completing the triangle your pyramid will fall quickly.
And I’ll keep you posted on how those 20 – well, maybe 30 – pounds are coming along.

Law of Attraction Only Works if Your Clear - Definite and Specific
So what does it take to make the Law of Attraction work? Well, I hear statements such as, 'I want to lose weight'. 'I want a lot of money.' 'I want to be happy and joyful.' 'I want world peace.' - Hey wait, that’s only my mom. 'I want oodles of money' (professional term for lots of green stuff). It seems money is the most popular ‘I want’.
Let's use this analogy. I'm ordering a pizza at a restaurant and I tell the waitress I'm hungry. I don't tell her anymore than that and let her decide on the toppings. She brings me a pizza with anchovies, onions, and feta cheese. I don't like any of these toppings. If I was clearer and more specific in what I wanted she would have been able to accommodate me. It works the same way when you ask the Universe. The more specific and clearer you are, the easier the universe can order up your pizza.
Wallace Wattles writes ‘you must form a clear and definite mental picture of what you want. ‘ He also goes on to say that many people fail to impress the thinking substance because they have only a vague and misty concept of the things they want to do, to have, or to become.
So if you want to have more money abundance then be more specific than ‘I want a lot of money’. Specify exactly how much you want, when you want it by, and mentally start living as if you had it. Okay, I'm not saying for you to go out and spend it before you have it. No one knows how long it will take to receive your wish. However, the stronger the vibrations and the more you actually believe it, the faster you'll start seeing results. So this is where the movie ‘The Secret’ leaves out some critical steps.
The most important step is the starting point. It's what you'll be focusing on. When you build something, you want a strong foundation. So the more you clarify your goal, the more specific you are with your end result, the easier it is to stay on track and recognize your goal when you achieve it. The complete formula for creating what you want is thoughts + feelings + actions equal’s results. Join us in later in completing this algebraic formula so you can have results you never thought were possible.

The book The Science of Getting Rich also known as the little green book is what movie The Secret was based on. So, let’s go back in time for a minute. It's 1910, so everything was quite different. What we take for granted today was cutting edge- or even beyond - especially when it came to unorthodox concepts.
What was my first experience with the little green book? I'll be right up front with you. The first time I read the book I didn't have a clue what he was talking about. I almost read it all. It was a little to woo woo for me. Who uses terms like ‘formless substance’, ‘certain way’, and my favorite ‘a thinking stuff’? Okay, now that I'm confessing, I thought the guy was from another planet and then when I saw what he looked like well that confirmed it for me.
I found my way back to the book, God only knows why, but the second time around the terms started to make sense. The term ‘thinking stuff’ is universal intelligence. Simply put we live in an intelligent universe. Where he uses the term ‘formless substance’, now we'd use the term 'energy'. And 'a certain way' wasn't so odd after all. He just meant that this was how you had to go about doing things to make his method work.
Now read Wattles' words with new eyes and understanding. He really wasn't as far out there as I thought. Enjoy this passage with a new meaning.
Getting Rich Is the Result of Doing Things In a Certain Way
There is a thinking stuff which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the inter spaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. I can form things in my thought, and by impressing my thoughts upon formless substance, can cause the thing I think about to be created. In order to do this, I must pass from the competitive to the creative mind. I must form a clear mental picture of the things I want. And, I must hold this picture in my thoughts with the fixed purpose to get what I want, and the unwavering faith that I will get what I want closing my mind to all that may tend to shake my purpose, dim my vision, or quench my faith. I am ready to receive what I want when it comes, and I am acting now upon the people and things in my present environment. Wallace D. Wattles 1910
